Racquets Maintence/Pro Shop Assistant

The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beah is seeking a part-time Racquets Maintence/Pro Shop Assistant. This dynamic individual will report to the Director of Racquets. Must be customer service oriented, a hands-on and comfortable interacting with owners and management daily.

FLSA Status: Part-Time;
Hourly, Non-Exempt (approximately 20 hours weekly); Varied Schedule to include mornings, afternoons and/or weekends.

This job description includes but is not limited to the duties and responsibilities below.

Job Summary:

The Racquets Assistant job duties include routine maintenance of our (7) tennis courts and (5) pickleball courts, assisting membership with reservations and retail sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect all items and areas on & around all playing courts (Pickleball and Tennis) for cleanliness and proper functionality and play readiness
• Groom the courts and provide needed maintenance to maintain the playing surfaces
• Report any issues observed to the Director of Racquets or Maintenance Supervisor including wind screens, fences, lights, furniture, canopies, and any other issue observed around the courts
• Respond to member inquiries and requests, resolve member service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manor
  
• Provide and replenish water on the courts
• Stack and store furniture for inclement weather
• Assist with daily rackets operations as directed
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Other duties assigned

The employee regularly comes into contact with water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items. The employee is frequently required to wash hands. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
