Job Description:
The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. This team is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility. This includes but is not limited to HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. The team is also responsible for maintaining the buildings, grounds and ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained throughout the campus/community.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Maintain the campus facilities and ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Will Train the right person

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
