Job Description: Plant Maintenance Specialist (Full-Time)

Position Overview:
The Plant Daddies are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team full-time. This role involves the care, maintenance, and overall health of plants at various client locations. The ideal candidate has at least four years of professional experience in horticulture, excellent references, and a passion for plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, including watering, pruning, cleaning, and fertilizing plants.
- Monitor plant health, identifying and addressing issues such as pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Ensure plants are thriving in their environments by adjusting light, humidity, and soil conditions as needed.
- Handle installation and replacement of plants and plant arrangements.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and offer advice.
- Maintain accurate records of plant care schedules and client interactions.
- Follow safety and cleanliness standards during all maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in plant maintenance, horticulture, or a related field.
- Strong references to verify skills, reliability, and professionalism.
- Knowledge of plant species, their care requirements, and common plant health issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
