Trade Compliance Specialist
Contract at least 6 months with the potential for extension
Remote, must live in MA
Hourly rate: $30.00-37.00/hr
Must have:
Bachelor's degree
Excel - Pivot Tables, VLookups
At least 2 year (job/internships) in customs brokerage or import
Comfortable with research and analysis of ever changing requirements
Strong familiarity with customs entry data and documentation required
The Trade Compliance Specialist will provide direct support to the Program Manager, focusing on global cargo security, compliance monitoring, and program execution across a 50 country network.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily cargo security at international shipping locations and track audit statuses.
Report on audit results, communications, and overall program progress.
Maintain and expand the risk assessment system for global shipping locations.
Prepare regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly program readouts.
Assist in creating training and reference materials on minimum security criteria.
Support program initiatives, including self-assessments, risk reviews, and denied party screening.
