π Real Estate Coordinator
Location: Akron, OH
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Are you detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing property, land, or right-of-way documentation? We are seeking a Real Estate Coordinator to support land acquisition and right-of-way activities for utility and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside project managers, engineers, GIS specialists, environmental consultants, and field teams while helping drive critical project initiatives from planning through execution.
What You'll Do
- Analyze, prepare, review, and interpret land and right-of-way documents including deeds, easements, leases, permits, licenses, and agreements.
- Conduct property rights and restriction reviews.
- Support permitting activities and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Research and review real property records, title documents, surveys, and related legal documentation.
- Interpret easement agreements and identify impacts to project development.
- Assist with translating right-of-way data into stakeholder management databases.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of database entries submitted by field agents.
- Compile and organize technical information for project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, GIS specialists, environmental consultants, vegetation management teams, and right-of-way personnel.
- Attend public meetings and open houses as needed.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional client service.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and project/task tracking tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with utility, electric transmission/distribution, railroad, infrastructure, or right-of-way projects.
- Familiarity with Google Earth and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of land acquisition, title research, easement interpretation, or permitting processes.
- IRWA designation or coursework is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with ability to meet company driving requirements.
