Job Title: IT Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week)

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (W2 only)

Pay Rate: Up to $43.24/hr (W2)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join a high-impact technology team in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid contract role that blends problem-solving, data analysis, and stakeholder communication to help transform business needs into actionable IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development experience, the ability to gather and translate requirements, and a customer-first mindset to support business users and IT partners across the enterprise.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or 4 additional years of business/IT experience in lieu of degree)


• 3 years of SQL development, support, and troubleshooting


• 1–3 years of experience in business systems analysis or IT systems support


• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across all levels of leadership


• Strong analytical skills and ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements


• Experience working cross-functionally with business and IT teams

• Demonstrated ability to lead customer interactions and translate complex issues into clear solutions


• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills


• Experience supporting the full lifecycle of reporting systems (from requirements to support)

• Serve as the bridge between IT and business partners to gather requirements and define solutions


• Design, develop, and support reporting systems using SQL


• Collaborate with programmers and developers to implement business-driven solutions


• Act as a customer advocate, ensuring satisfaction, communication, and timely issue resolution


• Support prioritization and planning efforts across assigned business areas


• Contribute to testing, implementation, and ongoing support of business solutions


• Help guide assigned business groups through project impacts and technology changes
