- Serve as the primary functional resource for the company's ERP system and related business applications, providing day-to-day support across multiple departments
- Troubleshoot ERP and business application issues while partnering with IT, business users, and third-party vendors to drive timely resolution
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, and system optimization
- Support manufacturing processes including production planning, inventory management, purchasing, order management, supply chain, and financial operations
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and other reporting solutions
- Extract and analyze business data to support operational and executive decision-making
- Develop KPIs and dashboards using SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools
- Participate in ERP upgrades, enhancements, testing, implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and effective system performance
- Provide ERP training and support to end users and create documentation, SOPs, and training materials
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify system improvements and translate business requirements into actionable solutions
Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered.
- 3–7 years of experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, or business systems analysis
- Manufacturing industry experience is required, with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and workflows
- Strong SQL skills, including writing queries, extracting data, analyzing information, and developing reports
- Understanding of core manufacturing processes such as MRP, inventory, production planning, purchasing, order management, or supply chain
- Experience partnering with cross-functional business teams to improve processes and systems
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex formulas
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Nice-to-have skills that would make a candidate more competitive but are not required.
- Experience with a major ERP platform such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Plex, or similar
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or other business intelligence/reporting tools
- Experience developing manufacturing KPIs, dashboards, and operational reporting
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, or system optimization initiatives
- Experience with EDI, APIs, or other system integrations
- Experience working in a multi-site manufacturing environment
- Experience creating process documentation, SOPs, and end-user training materials
