End User Support Technician

π Duration: 2-Month Contract
We are seeking an End User Support Technician to support a leading engineering and construction organization in Kansas City, MO. This role is ideal for candidates with strong desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, imaging, and customer service experience who enjoy working directly with end users to resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and resolution with a strong focus on customer support and timely issue resolution.
- Image, configure, install, repair, upgrade, and maintain computer systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and technical incidents.
- Manage and resolve support tickets through ServiceNow while meeting established service levels.
- Support end users both onsite and remotely.
- Perform inventory management of devices and maintain accurate asset assignments.
- Assist with software installations and licensing requirements.
- Complete new hire workstation setups and support office moves and equipment connections.
- Partner with IT teams and Service Owners to resolve complex technical issues.
- Maintain detailed ticket documentation and contribute to knowledge base updates.
- Participate in Problem Management and Change Management activities as needed.
- Provide Tier-1 audiovisual (AV) hardware troubleshooting and presentation support.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
Additional Information
This position supports a federal project and is subject to applicable federal drug-testing requirements. Successful completion of a drug screening is required as a condition of engagement.
