CAD Drafter (South Haven, MI)

Location: South Haven, MI 
Pay: $30–$35/hour 
Duration: 18 months
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Initial 1–2 weeks onsite for training, then primarily remote

About the Role:

We’re looking for a skilled CAD Draftsman/Operator to support ongoing projects by updating and maintaining technical drawings. This role involves working closely with a maintenance and engineering team to ensure accurate documentation for site layouts, equipment, utilities, and safety systems. If you’re detail-oriented, experienced in AutoCAD, and ready to hit the ground running, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Update and maintain site, equipment, utility, and safety drawings
• Revise redlined drawings and ensure accuracy in AutoCAD
• Draft and finalize P&IDs for projects and protocols
• Maintain electrical layouts and classification drawings
• Create and update diagrams for cleaning validation loops
• Perform walk-downs and incorporate redline changes
• Support engineering standards and documentation for projects

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Comfortable collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams
• Ability to travel to South Haven for initial training (remote work after)
