Business Analyst:
Serve as the primary point of contact between the fund-raising business units and the Information Technology department for technology-related initiatives, enhancements, and system request
Build and maintain strong working relationships with department leaders to understand operational needs, challenges, and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technology needs and documentation to support system enhancements, integrations, and new solutions.
- Develop and evaluate business cases for proposed technology initiatives, including assessment of value, cost, risk, resource needs, return on investment, and alignment with organizational strategy.
- Ensure technology initiatives follow established intake, governance, prioritization, and approval processes.
- Coordinate with IT leadership, application owners, vendors, and other stakeholders to define scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Monitor progress of assigned technology initiatives to support on-time and within-scope delivery, escalating risks, constraints, or misalignment as needed.
- Communicate project impacts, timelines, trade-offs, and outcomes to business stakeholders in clear, non-technical language.
- Partner with teams to document business processes, workflows, and system usage for assigned departments.
- Collaborate with service desk leadership to address systemic or recurring issues impacting business operations without directly providing end-user technical support.
Required Skills
- 5 years in business-IT liaison/ Business Analysts experience in an agile environment
- Proven track record of working directly with business leaders and department heads.
- Strong understanding of technology governance models, business case development, and project intake management.
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms (Blackbaud preferred; Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar acceptable).
- Experience with Non-profit fund-raising business processes and workflows
- Ability to navigate software development lifecycles, enhancement requests, and vendor-managed platforms.
- Experience coordinating across technical and business stakeholders.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language and vice versa.

Pay range and compensation package
$45/hr
Salary : $40 - $45
