Seasonal Chocolate Production Associate

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Chocolate Production Associate works on the production floor doing light assembly and helps in the process of the final product in our chocolate factory by either enrobing, marking or taking off chocolate on the enrobing line.

ACCOUNTABILITY

The Chocolate Production Associate reports directly to the Chocolate Production Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Core Responsibilities:

· With care and high standard load candy product onto the enrober machine.

· Inspect and monitor the quality of product on conveyor belt.

· Package product with the highest quality control using the Winans standard.

· Demonstrate a plan and a mindful process for designated workstation and how this impacts the pace of the entire production process.

· Work diligently, respectfully and kindly with all Associates to accomplish the daily production demands.

· Demonstrates, understanding and respect for the quality of Winans Chocolates and Candies by monitoring the look, texture and color of product throughout the day.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

· Collaborate with staff at all levels to create a nurturing atmosphere where people can do their best work.

· Model key behaviors and actions to exemplify a team player to both our clients and our staff equally.

· Be present and available to work in a variety of areas in the production facility.

Physical Capacity:

· Extended periods of standing.

· Routine moderate lifting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Previous restaurant/retail experience required; management experience preferred.

• Must be 18 Years or older

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to traverse all parts of the store quickly.

• Prolonged standing up to 8 hours with unscheduled or minimal breaks.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
