POSITION SUMMARY:

Educational Requirements and Experience:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continuously monitor the pool area to identify potential dangers and ensure safety.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the area.
- Educate members about water safety practices.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Respond to emergencies such as drowning, injuries, or other incidents.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the swimming area and surrounding facilities.
- Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to management.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and pool operations as required.
- Participate in regular training and drills to enhance skills and knowledge.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Valid lifeguard certification (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA) which includes CPR, First Aid, and AED training.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
