What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Store Manager position at The Pink Tulip Clothing?
Job Summary
The Pink Tulip has been a Birmingham staple since 1986, a mother-daughter boutique built on the belief that getting dressed should feel effortless and exciting, not stressful. With two locations (Downtown Homewood and The Grove in Hoover) and a growing online presence, we’re a small team doing big things. Our brand promise is simple: we’ve already done the thinking for you.
We’re not a corporate chain. We’re a real business with 40 years of roots in this community and we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us for the long haul. This isn’t just a store manager job. It’s a leadership role for someone who is equal parts sales driver, team builder, content creator, and community connector. You’ll run the day-to-day of our Hoover location while collaborating closely with ownership on the creative and strategic direction of the store.
You’ll be on camera, on the floor, and at the table for events planning. If that excites you, keep reading.

- Shoot weekly in-store video content for The Grove location; try-ons, styling, new arrivals, behind-the-scenes

- Keep the store floor merchandised beautifully and styled in a way that translates to content
- Be a natural on camera; authentic, engaging, and consistent with The Pink Tulip brand voice
