Mt. Tremper, NY | Part-time Monday–Wednesday or Full-time
The Pines is a restaurant, bar, and lodge in the Catskills—a gathering place for locals, weekend visitors, and friends coming together over good food, drinks, and music. We’re building on what people already love about the place while developing the next chapter of its food program.
We’re looking for a dependable, thoughtful line cook to join our kitchen, either part-time Monday through Wednesday or full-time.

What you’ll do
- Prep ingredients and set up your station for service.
- Cook and plate dishes consistently, with attention to timing and quality.
- Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Keep your station clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Follow food safety practices and help manage inventory and reduce waste.
- Help with cleanup and closing duties.
What we’re looking for
- Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience.
- Reliability, clear communication, and a willingness to pitch in.
- The ability to stay focused and organized during a busy service.
- Care for ingredients and pride in the food you send out.
- An interest in learning and growing with the kitchen.
For the part-time position, we’re specifically looking for Monday–Wednesday availability. For full-time, we’ll discuss a regular schedule based on the kitchen’s needs and your availability.
