The Role:
We are looking for an experienced fine dining Server Assistant/Food Runner who values the fundamental pillars of customer service and experience. You'll execute specialized tasks to ensure we can provide our patrons with the highest quality of experiential service. These responsibilities will involve collaboration and dish presentation.
This role is for the candidate that is looking to learn, grow, and execute at the highest levels of fine dining and experiential offerings. Candidates in this role will be working a minimum of 15-30 hours each week - Weekdays, Fridays & Saturdays

Responsibilities:
- Showcase seasoned service skills, attention to detail, and develop a strong knowledge of our F&B offerings.
- Provide exceptional and personalized service to guests.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, grace, and attentiveness
- Offer detailed menu descriptions, provide recommendations, and guide guests through a memorable dining experience
- Ensure flawless order taking, food and beverage presentation, and timely service
- Display expertise in wine pairing and confidently make suggestions to enhance the dining experience
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and sommelier to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the dining area
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with a calm and professional demeanor
- Willingness to do what is necessary for the guest experience at all times. “Yes Chef Mentality”
- Dedication to delivering an extraordinary dining experience and establishing The Pines as the best restaurant in Utah.
Skills:
- Proven experience as Server
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a restaurant.
- Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils and serving tools.
- A team player with good communication skills and an even temper
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
- Very good physical condition and endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred;
Experience: Server/Servers Assistant: 2 years (Required)
Restaurant Experience: 3 years (Required)
Job Type: Part-Time
Language: English (Proficient Working Use) and/ or Spanish
License: Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
