We are looking for a PM shift nurse (LPN or RN) for the Pines Post Acute and Memory Care. The Pines Post Acute & Memory Care is a 50-bed Nursing Facility focusing on Short Term Rehabilitation and Memory Care nestled among 17 acres of beautiful country in Clintonville, WI. Pay: LPN rate is $31-34/hr.; RN rate is 37-42/hr.
Hours: 2pm to 10pm- will include working every other weekend
Job Responsibilities:
- Medication administration
- Evaluation of long-term care and rehab residents
- Applying treatments necessary to meet the needs of residents
- Observing residents and appropriately documenting
- Ability to care for residents in a manner that is: patient and respectful regardless of resident's cooperation
- Follow safety guidelines
- MUST: be capable of maintaining regular attendance
- Requires ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Safely utilize equipment
- Participate in emergency fire or disaster drills
- Follow universal safety precaution
Skills
- MUST have an LPN or RN license
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of emergency care
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
- BS or other diploma from a nursing program
