Location: The Pines of Mount Lebanon — Pittsburgh, PA
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Available
Pay Rate
- Caregiver / Resident Assistant: $19.30 / hour
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): $20.30 / hour (includes $1.00/hr CNA differential)
Position Overview
The Pines of Mount Lebanon, an Integracare community, is seeking compassionate, reliable Caregivers and CNAs to join our dedicated care team on the 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM). In this role, you will provide essential daily assistance, physical support, and companionship to our residents, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and comfort in a welcoming community environment.
Available Schedules
- Full-Time: 5 days per week (40 hours/week) with rotating weekend coverage.
- Part-Time: 3 days per week (24 hours/week) with rotating weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with meal distribution and provide supportive assistance during breakfast and lunch service.
- Answer resident call lights promptly and attentively.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided and report any updates or changes in resident condition to line nursing staff.
- Foster a warm, safe, and respectful environment for all residents, visitors, and team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required to receive the $20.30/hr tier. (Non-certified Caregivers are fully eligible for the $19.30/hr tier).
- Experience: Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, or personal care preferred, but enthusiastic candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and ability to work effectively as part of a care team.
- Requirements: Must be able to pass standard pre-employment background checks and health screenings.
