The Pill Box Pharmacy is a small business in Decatur, AL. Our goal is to provide personal and exceptional service to our patients and customers as a local independent retail pharmacy. We are a family-owned and run pharmacy that offers patient-centered services such free deliveries, vaccinations, one-on-one medication counseling, and specialized packaging for monthly medications. The person applying for this position will be expected to perform (with appropriate training) the following duties: * Data entry * Filing and record-keeping * Prescription filling and labeling * Assisting in drug inventory and ordering * Operating a point-of-sale system * Assisting patients and customers with phone and in-person interactions * Complying with all pharmacy laws and HIPAA regulations * Restocking OTC and front of store items * Maintaining a safe, clean and organized environment for customers/coworkers * Assisting pharmacists in other pharmacy tasks as needed * Providing excellent customer service Educational requirements: High school diploma, GED or equivalent Experience and licenses preferred: * Previous experience in retail pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy cashier * Alabama Pharmacy Technician License Personal Traits (needed to be successful in this position): * dependability * integrity * attention to detail * ability to work well with people * friendly
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
