The Piercing Nurse, is a nurse-led aesthetic and wellness practice offering advanced non-surgical treatments. We specialize in:

• Neurotoxin injections (Botox, Dysport, etc.)
• IV hydration therapy
• Chemical peels & skin rejuvenation

Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed and practicing physician (MD or DO) in Connecticut to serve as Medical Director for our med spa. This role is ideal for physicians interested in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, wellness, or concierge care who want to earn additional income with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical oversight and supervision of RN injector services.
• Conduct initial patient chart reviews and approvals in accordance with Connecticut regulations.
• Be available for consultation (virtual or on-site) regarding patient care, complications, or escalations.
• Ensure compliance with all medical and state regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to refine treatment protocols and support quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut medical license (MD/DO) in good standing (required).
• Background in aesthetics, dermatology, internal medicine, family practice, or plastic surgery preferred.
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and interest in aesthetic medicine.
• Previous experience as a medical director or collaborating physician is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:
