Merchandiser

Overview

The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently seeking a Retail Merchandiser in the Alexandria, LA area. The Retail Merchandiser is responsible for performing merchandising activities for a specified number of stores, outlined geographic territory, or specific warehouse accounts. This role will include overnight travel three nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are correctly tagged/properly faced, organize product displays, and consistently maintain thoroughness in rotation of product.
• Perform resets, remove discolored or damaged product, and report concerns to Quality Assurance. Issue credits to customers where applicable.
• Communicate effectively and build strong rapport with key store personnel while also building Pictsweet brand recognition and customer loyalty with consumers.
• Manage time effectively and prioritize route management.
• Handle other assignments and projects assigned by the Merchandiser Manager.
  
  
  

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required – college degree preferred
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to independently plan and organize daily activities with significant experience in a deadline driven environment.
• Knowledge of business based computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must maintain current and valid driver’s license and valid proof of current insurance.
• Must be willing to travel extensively
  
  
  

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive standing, walking, reaching, stooping and lifting up to 30 pounds required.
• 20 plus hours per week of driving a vehicle to manage in-store responsibility.
• Environment that requires organizational skills and ability to manage stress.
