What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler (Full Time) - Victory Health position at The Physicians' Group?
FT Scheduler needed for Family Practice clinic in Yukon
Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and schedule office visits and follow up appointments
- Obtain and verify insurance information and document accurate demographics and patient data efficiently
- Will work closely with referral sources to include physicians, adjusters and case managers as needed
- Filing, Faxing, documenting in EMR and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- One year medical office scheduling experience is preferred
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be detail oriented
- EPIC or other electronic medical records experience and Work Comp experience is preferred
- Must be able to learn quickly
- High School diploma or equivalent required (GED)
