The Phoenix Recovery Center is hiring a full-time Admissions & Intake Coordinator to join our team in South Jordan.
This is a great fit for someone who is personable, organized, comfortable on the phone, and able to move quickly while still providing compassionate support to people seeking mental health and substance use treatment.
Behavioral health experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
What You'll Do
You will help prospective clients and families navigate the process from their first call through admission, including:
- Answering and responding to new admission inquiries
- Speaking with prospective clients and families
- Completing intake screenings
- Gathering insurance and required admission information
- Coordinating insurance verification
- Following up consistently with prospective clients
- Coordinating admission details with our clinical, medical, and residential teams
- Documenting calls and admission activity in KIPU
- Participating in a rotating evening/weekend on-call schedule
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:

- Highly organized and dependable
- Comfortable managing multiple calls, follow-ups, and priorities
- Able to communicate compassionately with people in difficult situations
- Motivated and able to work with a sense of urgency
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, medical offices, patient intake, insurance verification, admissions, scheduling, call centers, or customer service is preferred but not required.
Compensation
$18–$20/hour depending on experience
In addition to your hourly wage, this position has multiple opportunities to earn additional income:
- Individual bonuses for qualifying admissions
- Monthly team performance bonuses
- Additional pay for scheduled on-call weeks
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
This position also participates in a rotating evening/weekend on-call schedule with additional compensation.
