Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service while crafting and serving a wide variety of beverages and food items. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions, credit card payments, and tabs accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop beverage recipes and suggest menu pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service for seamless delivery of orders in both bar and dining areas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or serving within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs professionally.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in fine dining settings or nightclub environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
