Surgical Account Executive, Renal Therapies - New York, NYSeeking a Surgical Account Executive due to a promotion for a top medical device company with advanced technology in the Renal, Dialysis, and Nephrology Surgical Space. The company owns 80% of the market in several divisions, and this newer division is rapidly growing with new products acquired and launching.The Surgical Account Executive will be responsible for the following in this high performing territory:Presenting and selling products to new and existing accounts.Following up with their accounts to confirm that products delivered meet their needs.Makes in-service presentations to clinicians, explaining new products and their use.Confident in selling complex products in the O.R. with the surgeons covering cases, very procedural driven, but not trauma or pager.Maintains close relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are understood and met.Coordinates with marketing and sales staff to ensure that products are delivered on time, to stay informed about new products, and to provide customer feedback about product innovation.Markets/Industries: Renal and NephrologyCall Points: Hospitals and Outpatient Dialysis Centers, Nephrologists, and Interventional Radiology SurgeonsProducts: Renal, Nephrology, and Dialysis Surgical DevicesGeography Covered: New York City is focus, includes New EnglandBase City: Manhattan, Long Island, or Northern NJ since New York City is main focusTravel Requirements: 50%QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors’ Degree.Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience, preferably in selling medical device products.Operating Room or Surgery Sales Experience PreferredTrack record of success selling complex products into the Operating Room, Procedural Driven.Someone with a strong clinical acumen selling skills and who has the confidence to challenge surgeons.Renal or Nephrology surgery in background with other medical device surgery is best fit.Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.Excellent driving record with no driving accidents in the past three years or no more than one driving ticket in the last three years.COMPENSATION:Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000Total Comp @ Plan: $330,000The company offers an initial 6 Month IC Guarantee.2/3 of Reps make over $200,000. The Top 1/3 of Reps make $300,000 to $400,000Car Allowance: Yes (MOTUS)ESOP, 401K, and full benefits.
