Requirements
- Massachusetts Oil Burner Technician Certificate
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Relevant oil burner and heating service experience
- Service and maintain boiler systems, burners, and piping equipment
- Perform cleanings, safety inspections, and routine maintenance
- Diagnose system issues and complete necessary repairs
- Adjust and calibrate controls for safe and efficient operation
- Assist with oil burner installations and system startups as needed
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Educate customers about system care and energy efficiency
- Participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime during peak heating seasons
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- On-call rotation during busy season
- Some weekend and overtime availability required during peak and cold-weather seasons
