CNC Programmer

Company: Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops Location: Norwood

Busy Stone Fabrication Shop seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD programming. Candidate must be hard working and used to a fast paced environment.

Duties

• Receive incoming shop Work Orders and prepare for production
• Digitize hard templates or import digital templates for production
• Programs are written using Alpha Cam, Easy Stone and Slabsmith platforms
• Importing sink files / assigning set backs / faucet drilling / assigning edge details
• Nesting pieces on slabs for optimal aesthetic appearance
• Nesting pieces for optimal yield
• Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed.
• Working safely at all time is critical
  
  

Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of machining processes.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in shop atmosphere.
