Minimum Massachusetts Second Class Fireman License

PURPOSE
This position is responsible for maintaining boiler operations to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous steam operations.
Responsibilities
- Provides expertise, acting as boiler operation systems, vessels, processes, and troubleshooting knowledge for department.
- Performs various tasks which may include monitoring, preventative maintenance.
- Works independently, or with other department staff to resolve errors and system faults, researching and pursuing issues to final resolution.
- Provides guidance and advice to less experienced staff in the resolution of system errors and issues.
- Ensures that own work is in compliance with all corporate policies, safety guidelines and applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
