Role Description
The main objective of this role is to successfully grow a fleet of full service lease & rental vehicles throughout our Virginia territory. Utilizing the Peterbilt, PacLease, and Pete Store names, this role would be able to position an already trusted brand to a wealth of prospects that have otherwise been uncontacted in the past. Through persistence and dedication, this role will focus on not only growing our customer base through constant contact with prospects and customers, but also a deep attention to customer service by putting the needs of our clients as a top priority.
Responsibilities
· Lease & Rental Sales; prospect for new customers through email, cold calls, knocks, social media, etc. Manage any existing relationships through ongoing contact.
· Utilize technology such as RigDig, FleetSeek, LinkedIn, etc to discover and connect with potential new customers
· Keep an organized schedule to separate time for visiting with current customers, researching new ones, and prospecting; utilize our SalesForce platform to keep an organized pipeline and structured prospecting
· Spec trucks in SmartSpec tool with resale and customer application as a priority; prepare accurate and complete deals in SalesSuite tool
· Travel to each location within region periodically to grow market for that specific dealership
· Be able to handle aspects of rental department including creating contracts, assisting with credit and insurance, and communicating with the service advisor teams regarding all pending rental transactions
· Be able to communicate with local service team for repairs & maintenance; work hand in hand with local service manager & PacLease Fleet Service Manager, referring all customers to contact their respective service advisors and service managers in time of breakdown
· Prepare and deliver new trucks for lease and rental sales including insurance, tag & titlework, and any other pre-delivery tasks
· Assist administrative team when needed with various tasks that require additional communication with your customer base
Qualifications
- Strong account management and client relationship skills
- Experience in contract negotiation and customer service
- Knowledge of the trucking industry and leasing operations is a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant software systems and tools
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively within a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred
