Duties
- Assist with pet care activities including feeding, walking, and administering basic animal care routines
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and ensure their comfort during interactions
- Maintain cleanliness of suites and common areas through regular sanitization and cleaning procedures
- Support pet boarding services by monitoring animals’ behavior and ensuring their well-being during stay
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, assisting pet owners, and offering guidance on pet needs
- Help with outdoor work such as walking dogs, cleaning outdoor play areas, and ensuring secure fencing
- Support team lifting and animal handling tasks to ensure safety for both staff and animals during daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in the animal care industry.
- Experience with pet boarding or daycare or veterinary office.
- Knowledge of caring for animals daily needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or animals as needed
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude a must.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and sanitation.
- Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
