This role involves working closely with pets and their owners to ensure a safe, comfortable, and professional grooming experience. The Groomer will play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of our clients' pets while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for dogs and other small animals
- Handle animals safely and gently during grooming procedures, utilizing animal restraint techniques as needed
- Assist with pet care routines such as feeding, medication administration, and basic veterinary procedures if required
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and work areas in compliance with health standards
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations
- Monitor animals for signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions and report concerns to management.
- Support kennel duties or animal handling tasks as necessary, including heavy lifting of animals or equipment
