Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Brunswick, GA. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to a variety of animals, including conducting routine check-ups, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing routine surgeries, and providing preventive healthcare services. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed medical records, communicating with pet owners about their pets’ health and treatment plans, and ensuring the highest standard of patient care. This role also involves working collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals to provide compassionate care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating animal health issues, conducting physical exams, and understanding veterinary medical procedures.
- Skilled in surgical procedures, including both routine and emergency operations, and anesthesia administration.
- Experience in managing vaccinations, preventive care, and parasite control treatments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively interacting with pet owners and team members.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records and managing caseloads effectively.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree and eligable to take the Georgia State Boards or have a veterinary license in the state of Georgia.
- Familiarity with new technologies and advancements in veterinary medicine is a plus.
