Veterinary Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Evenings, Weekends & Holidays (4 PM–10 PM)
Location: Springfield, Ohio
We are building a veterinary urgent care team focused on efficiency, compassion, and collaboration with local veterinary practices. This is a unique opportunity to join a brand-new hospital and help shape its culture and standards from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient restraint, treatments, and basic nursing care
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Support both medical and client service operations as needed
- Greet clients, assist with check-in/check-out, and help manage patient flow
- Answer phones, take messages, and provide general client communication support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
- Help ensure smooth workflow during high-volume periods
Ideal Candidate
- Prior veterinary experience preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to support both clinical and front desk (CSR) responsibilities
- Positive, flexible attitude with a focus on client and patient care
- Evening and weekend availability required
Compensation based on experience. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
