Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Full-Time or Part-Time | Evenings, Weekends & Holidays (4p–10p)
Location: Springfield, Ohio
Veterinary experience is required. Weekend availability is required.
The Pet Clinic of Springfield Urgent Care opened in May 2026 and was created to provide accessible, high-quality care while supporting local primary care veterinary practices. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Customer Service Representative (CSR) who is comfortable in a fast-paced veterinary environment and understands the unique needs of pet owners facing urgent medical concerns.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have prior experience working in a veterinary hospital or veterinary urgent care setting.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients with professionalism, empathy, and confidence
- Answer phones and triage client concerns appropriately
- Check patients in and out efficiently
- Accurately enter medical and client information into the hospital management system
- Process payments and review estimates as directed
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and clients
- Coordinate medical records and communication with referring veterinary clinics
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary CSR, receptionist, or veterinary hospital experience required
- Weekend availability is required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume periods
- Comfortable handling emotionally charged situations with professionalism and compassion
- Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude
- Reliable evening and holiday availability
- Experience with Pulse (Pulse PIMS) is a strong plus
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Full-time and part-time positions available.
