Water Resources Engineer
The Personnel Consulting Group is working with one of the premier civil & environmental engineering firms in the Baton Rouge area to identify a Senior Water Resources Engineer with deep expertise in municipal water infrastructure.

Performance Objectives
- Develop comprehensive design plans for potable water supply and distribution systems that enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Lead evaluation and optimization of existing wastewater collection and treatment facilities to improve operational performance.
- Conduct hydrological analyses and apply findings to mitigate flood risks, enhancing community resilience to adverse weather events.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, maintaining robust communication with clients.
- Implement advanced water treatment technologies to address evolving regulatory and environmental quality standards.
- Draft and present detailed engineering reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
- Initiate and oversee cost-effective solutions for energy optimization across varied municipal engineering projects.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, with a strong focus on water resources.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in one or more relevant states or ability to obtain within a year.
- Minimum 8 years of experience with a proven track record in water systems design and management.
- Proficient in hydrological modeling software and advanced computational analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations and collaborative teamwork.
