Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related analytical field (or greater level of experience).
- 5–6 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or technical analytics roles.
o Minimum 2 years of hands-on SQL and BI experience prior to ChatGPT’s 2022 launch (demonstrating foundational analytical training and independent problem-solving).
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI (DAX, data modeling, relationships, performance optimization).
o Fabric or Azure knowledge a plus
- Solid understanding of relational databases and query design.
- Experience in industrial, O&G, manufacturing, or sales-based environments preferred (but not required)
o Only domain we will not accept experience from is healthcare
- Familiarity with disparate enterprise systems and the ability to reconcile data across multiple platforms a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Python a plus
- Demonstrated experience in business partnership, including gathering requirements, leading data discussions, and delivering insights to non-technical teams.
- Strong business acumen, curiosity, and comfort operating in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to tell the story behind the data.
