Position: Staff Physician (Internal Medicine)
Location: Stockton, CA
Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients by taking an appropriate medical history and completing a physical examination as indicated. Coordinate relevant age-appropriate preventative health screening. Perform minor surgical procedures. Direct and coordinate activities of medical assistants and other medical staff. Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioners when necessary and provide consultation and assistance to other physicians as needed. Complete forms for schools and regulatory agencies regarding patients health/medications/medical clearance. Actively manage a panel of patients using multiple resources including patient registries, telephone and secure message communication and assistance from other medical support staff.
