Opportunity Description
The Continuous Improvement Manager is a hands-on, floor-based role focused on improving efficiency, inventory accuracy, and quality within a production environment. This position works closely with the Production Manager and production team to identify issues, implement improvements, and sustain operational discipline using Lean principles.
The Continuous Improvement Manager will play in an emphasized role in the following:
- Using Lean / Six Sigma methods to improve workflow, material flow, and production efficiency
- Serving as the escalation point for inventory issues (shortages, discrepancies, missing materials)
- Partnering with the Production Manager to support daily production execution and team leadership
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining a structured quality audit system within production
- Conducting quality audits, tracking findings, and driving corrective actions
- Identifying root causes of operational issues and overseeing the implemention long-term fixes
- Supporting standard work, processing documentation, and continuous improvement efforts
What We’re Looking For
- Lean / Six Sigma experience (certification a plus, not required)
- 3 years in manufacturing, production, or operations
- Required experience using an ERP or inventory management system to track materials, production, or inventory discrepancies
- Strong understanding of inventory flow and production processes
- Comfortable leading and supporting teams in a hands-on, floor-based role with at least 1 year of management experience in manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
