As a member of our team, the Network and Systems Administrator assist TPFCU in living out its mission by delivering outstanding service to all staff, vendors, and members. By providing prompt SOLUTIONS to our employees through help desk tickets, you are enabling them to provide QUALITY service for our members. By monitoring, maintaining, and updating operating systems, networks, servers, PCs, and communication tools, you provide stability to our IT infrastructure, thus allowing employees to do great work and members access to their critical financial information.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Service: Respond to help-desk tickets, provide SOLUTIONS, and close tickets promptly.
- Technical Support: Plan, implement, maintain, and support Firewalls, Servers, PC hardware and software products, wide area communications, database systems, network and systems security and access controls. Assure prompt response to and recovery from systems and network related production interruptions, across multiple hardware platforms, networks, and operating systems.
- Network Maintenance and Monitoring: Provide primary support for the company's network and PC/LAN servers which includes planning, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system hardware and software. Anticipate system and network security/integrity risks and assure adequate safeguards. Minimize downtime.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Oversee the maintenance of hardware and software at TPFCU’s disaster recovery site and provide technical support for disaster recovery testing.
- Training employees on new systems and software.
EXPERIENCE
2-5 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Previous data processing experience with networks, PCs, data communications, mainframe, and PC programming; technical planning; project management.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- College degree in Computer Science.
