A top-tier national law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate (3–5 years PQE) to join its busy and collaborative Washington, DC office. This group handles complex middle-market M&A, joint ventures, and equity finance matters across a broad range of sectors including hospitality, digital media, food & beverage, and financial services.
This is a partnership-track opportunity with substantial client contact, strong mentorship, and meaningful deal responsibility.

Work closely with partners representing major brand names—regional and national restaurant groups, high-profile family offices, beverage conglomerates, and global hotel brands. Key Responsibilities
Base Salary: $240,000 – $305,000 (DOE)
Bonuses: Productivity, merit-based, and business development bonuses available ($10K–$200K )

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support M&A transactions, joint ventures, and equity financings
- Draft and negotiate stock and asset purchase agreements, operating agreements, and related documents
- Coordinate with specialists across tax, IP, employment, and regulatory teams
- Support private equity and family office clients on complex transactions
- Interface directly with clients and contribute to strategic commercial advice
- 3–5 years’ experience in corporate transactions at a well-regarded law firm
- Strong M&A and joint venture experience; equity finance is a must
- Familiarity with debt finance (loan and security agreements) is a plus
- Skilled in drafting principal deal documents and overseeing deal flow
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Admitted in DC or eligible to waive in
