JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Harrisburg, a member of the NCAA Division III, is accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Coach for the sport of Softball with the Department of Athletics.
Job Duties- Assisting the Head Coach in recruiting and program development, practice preparation and game day coaching.
May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
Hours will vary between 10 to 15 hours/week (off-season) and 25 to 35 hours/week (in season). This is an hourly appointment during the off-season and an exempt appointment paid monthly in-season. BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties.
