JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life (OFSL) at The Pennsylvania State University currently recognizesapproximately 70 fraternities and sororities across 4 distinct governing councils.With over 6,500 members, the fraternity and sorority community at Penn State makes up about 17% of the undergraduate student population. TheOffice of Fraternity & Sorority Lifeiscomprisedof aDirector,twoAssociate Directors,aSenior Assistant Director,sixAssistant Directors,threeAdministrative Support Assistants, andtwoGraduate Assistants.
Responsibilities include:
Support daily operations in theOffice of Fraternity & Sorority Lifeby answering phone calls, greeting visitors, scheduling room reservations, coordinating events and catering, and monitoring Standards of Excellence program form submissions.
Provide direct support for the preparation andlogisticsof in-person programming.
Assistin the technical development of education through online platforms.
Provide support for data input, includingparticipation tracking, student responses, and programassessment.
Develop a marketing strategy for educational programming, including collecting images from events.
Assistin the development of educational programs and curriculum based on the strategic priorities of theOffice of Fraternity & Sorority Life.
Other duties as assigned,often based onassistant'sinterest areas and past experiences.
Terms ofemployment:
Fall 2026and Spring 2027semesters
10-20 hours per week
