JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Division of Arts and Humanities at Penn State Abington is seeking one or more part-time Instructors to teach fully remote undergraduate courses in Communications, Media Studies and/or Cinema Studies beginning August 2023. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Candidates with a student-centered, innovative, and engaging approach to teaching are encouraged to apply. Job Duties Adjunct instructors normally teach between one and three courses per semester. Successful candidates will teach COMM 100N - Mass Media and Society (scheduled for Tuesdays/Thursdays) and/or COMM 150N - The Art of the Cinema (scheduled for Tuesdays). Requirements and Qualifications Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field or significant professional experience is required. Applicants should submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae.
