The Pekoe Group is an award-winning, fast-paced, full service advertising agency in NYC, working with the city's top Broadway shows, Off-Broadway shows, and institutions.
We are currently seeking a PARTNERSHIPS & PROMOTIONS INTERN to join our team this fall.
Our Partnerships & Promotions team develops strategic relationships and community initiatives that expand awareness, drive ticket sales, and connect our clients with new audiences. From local businesses and organizations to promotional events and grassroots activations, the team plays an important role in bringing each campaign to life.
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the Partnerships & Promotions team in both campaign planning and day-to-day execution. This is a great opportunity for a student or emerging marketing professional to build real world experience while working on campaigns for Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Pitching partnership and promotions ideas to the Partnerships & Promotions Manager based on campaign strategy briefs
- Conducting research and maintaining up-to-date partnership and contact lists
- Coordinating community partnerships and grassroots outreach based on show-specific strategies
- Assisting with the planning and execution of promotional events and activations
- Assisting on-site at promotional events
- Assisting with weekly and bi-weekly client reporting updates
- Handling show-related errands and deliveries
- Providing day-to-day support to the Partnerships & Promotions Manager
INTERNSHIP QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Responsible, responsive, and dependable
- Comfortable interacting professionally with external partners and community organizations
- Excited to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for the theatre industry
SCHEDULE: 3 days per week in office. This is a 3-month (12-week) internship.
COMPENSATION: $17.00 per hour
