What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at The Pekin Lodge?
We're looking for a head housekeeper to clean rooms primarily at the Pekin lodge (in Pekin) & the Stump Lake Lodge (in Lakota). Along with multiple other houses in Nelson County as needed.
(We also provide free housing to staff)
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential & commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain sanitation protocols by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly & professionally.
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory & ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained & operational.
