What You’ll Do
As our first dedicated Quality Control Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products—from metal and plastic shopping carts to retail displays—meet internal specifications and customer expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting raw materials, components, and finished products for defects or non-conformance.
- Using precision tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers) to perform dimensional checks.
- Conducting visual and functional inspections of welded frames, plastic parts, and caster assemblies.
- Documenting inspection results and reporting quality issues to production and engineering teams.
- Supporting audits, remanufacturing evaluations, and fleet management inspections.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with metal fabrication and plastic molding inspection.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and CAPA processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practices.
