The Pediatric Development Center (PDC) is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead the financial operations that sustain our mission: helping children, families, and clinicians thrive.
This isn’t just billing—it’s leadership. You’ll manage the full revenue cycle for a multi-location, multi-disciplinary pediatric therapy practice, leading a small team to deliver accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across every stage of the process.
Position: Full-time, onsite at Rockville, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
What You’ll Do
Oversee insurance billing, claims submission, payment posting, and collections with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead and mentor billing associates, providing guidance on complex cases and best practices.
- Partner with clinical and administrative teams to ensure clean documentation and prompt reimbursement.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., days in A/R, denial rates, collection percentages) and recommend improvements.
- Drive automation and process enhancements to reduce manual work and errors.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and payer regulations while protecting patient confidentiality.
Provide regular reporting and insights to the Practice Manager and leadership team.
What You Bring
5 years of progressive medical billing or revenue cycle experience, ideally in a therapy or outpatient healthcare setting.
- Expertise in claims processing, denials management, and patient billing.
- Strong leadership and communication skills—you bring clarity, accountability, and a coaching mindset.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and comfort with technology.
Associate degree or certification in medical billing and coding preferred.
