What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Volleyball Head Coach position at The PEDDIE SCHOOL?
The Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey is accepting applications for the position of Varsity Girls Volleyball, Head Coach. The head coach is fully responsible for the overall supervision of their program, including the sub varsity team; this is important as we anticipate the return of a varsity program in Fall 2027. Additionally, the head coach is responsible for recruiting efforts related to the program. The head coach should lead with enthusiasm, diligence, and in a manner consistent with the mission of the school. As the Peddie Athletic experience is viewed as an extension of the classroom, belief in the philosophy of “education through athletics” is important to this position.
Qualifications:

Minimum high school volleyball background

Collegiate experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred

Ability to pass all background checks and SafeSport certification upon hiring

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanor
