Role Description
We are seeking a Payroll Administrator and Human Resources Generalist to join our team in an on-site, full-time capacity based in Hightstown, NJ. The candidate will manage payroll processing, oversee garnishments and payroll tax compliance, and administer employee benefits. In addition, the individual will assist with general human resources responsibilities, including record keeping, compliance, employee inquiries, and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and regulations.
- Manage full semi-monthly payroll cycles in UKG Ready, process employee changes and deductions, audit data for accuracy, and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee tax filings, wage garnishments, unemployment claims, EEO-1 reporting, and support audits; reconcile payroll to the general ledger and assist with month- and year-end close.
- Maintain and validate HRIS/UKG configurations, review system updates, run reports and track supplemental compensation
- Provide knowledgeable support for benefits administration including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
- Manage onboarding/offboarding, maintain HRIS data integrity, ensure compliance, document processes, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Handle HR/payroll inquiries with professionalism’ assist with special projects, wellness initiatives, and engagement programs.
