Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Toast POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while serving food items when necessary.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service to all guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or banquets.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain accountability for all sales made during shifts.
Skills
- Proficient in Toast POS systems is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume service periods efficiently.
- Excellent sales abilities to promote menu items and enhance guest experiences.
- Previous fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations in the food industry.
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus.
