Responsibilities
- Stock and organize produce displays, ensuring products are fresh, appealing, and properly labeled
- Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and updating inventory management systems accurately
- Assist customers with product questions, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to uphold store standards for hygiene and safety
- Support shipping & receiving activities by loading and unloading deliveries with manual handling techniques
- Collaborate with team members on merchandising efforts to optimize product placement and presentation
Experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of produce products, retail sales processes, and merchandising techniques enhances performance in this role
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Must be able to life 40-50lbs
- This position is primarily outside so you must be able to tolerate hot and cold temperatures.
